ABOUT ME

Welcome to my world of artistry and performance! I am a passionate performer, singer, and dancer, deeply inspired by the beauty and creativity that surrounds us. I was born for this, My grandfather used to say “It’s like something is inside of him is bursting to get out!”. My journey in the arts began early at the ETA Creative Arts Foundation on the South Side of Chicago, where I immersed myself in their summer program. This foundation paved the way for my continued growth through the University of Chicago Young Artist Mentorship Program.

My musical journey began at home, studying piano with my father, a choir director, piano instructor, and published gospel composer, alongside his collaborator Calvin Bridges. I expanded my skills further at the Hyde Park Suzuki Institute, where my love for all genres of music blossomed.

In 8th grade, I took a significant step by auditioning for the Chicago Academy for the Arts, the only private arts school in the city, where I had the privilege of studying under esteemed instructors like Headmistress Pamela Jordan, Patricia Rusk, Matthew Kerns, Kelly Harrington, Anna Paskevka, and Randy Duncan. It was at the Academy that I truly honed my craft, discovering my passion for musical theater. Highlights of my time there included performing with the Joffrey Ballet, playing The Lion in “The Wiz" for Original Dorothy Stephanie Mills, and having my directorial debut piece, excerpts from “A My Name is Alice" showcased at the Kennedy Center when the Academy was honored as a National School of Distinction, winning the prestigious Creative Ticket Award.

After graduating from The Academy, I pursued my dreams at Baldwin Wallace University’s Conservatory of Music, where I was accepted into the highly competitive Musical Theater program under the guidance of the remarkable Victoria Bussert.

Since leaving Baldwin Wallace, I have been actively performing, building my resume within the vibrant Chicago theater scene and across the country in various regional theaters. My work has garnered recognition through multiple BroadwayWorld, AriZoni, and Chicago Jeff Award nominations.

Some of my notable credits include being part of the Original Chicago Cast of “Spamilton" the American Premiere of Tim Sheader’s “Jesus Christ Superstar" the Regional Premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Phantom of the Opera" and the original Chicago company of “Titanique" Additionally, I've co-starred in commercials for brands like AutoZone, Target, General Insurance, and Jimmy Dean, as well as guest-starring on FX’s “Fargo" and HBO’s “Lovecraft Country".

I invite you to join me on this artistic journey, where passion meets creativity, and every performance is an expression of love for the craft. We’re here to create work that matters, led by a shared commitment to quality, care and the beauty of the human spirit.
